3D Animation, Multimedia and Digital Video Production: |
Extensive Multimedia Development including Digital Graphics, 2D/3D Animation, VRML, OpenGL,

Edited over 200 mathematics videos on professional computer based editing systems and created over 2,000 graphics for video productions using Illustrator and
Photoshop.
Created a 5 minute animated production made up of various independent 3D segments that demonstrates the use of 3D Studio and nonlinear editing systems in animation work. The entire
animation including editing and music was created, edited and produced solely within a PC using 3D Studio and TouchVision's DVISION with no external video tape stages. Done in 1993, it represented one of the
first such productions ever made.
Various test projects include using 3DStudio/MAX, Director 7 and Lingo, Media 100, Avid MC Express, After Effects, Premiere, Truespace, Bryce 3D, Poser 3,
Freehand, Canvas 7, Cakewalk, Acid Pro and various MIDI sequencers and audio editors .

I maintain and administer an NT4, Exchange 5.5 Server and a W2k Exchange 2K Server. I develop and write Applications
for the Exchange Server, Outlook 2000 Client and other Office 2000 Applications such as Word, Excel and Access.

Independent Research - In addition to the Client projects described below, I'm developing a showcase Website that will feature DHTML, XML, CSS and original Active X
custom controls written in VB6, VC++ and Java. The site will offer tutorials in various Web Technologies and will demonstrate ASP and SQL Server, Data Warehouse examples, XML Database use, ActiveX Controls,
VBScript, Java, Shockwave, VRML, Active Server pages etc. and serve as a test bed for the various software technologies.
As part of this project, I maintain a small NT 4.0, Windows 2000 Pro and
Server host network to operate local servers for webs under development prior to publication to various publicly available hosting servers.

- Performed a consulting Study that recommended a specific set of hardware and software tools for as the basis of their infrastructure for developing Internet/Intranet applications for a new banking school in Chicago.

Inso Corporation - Part of a team that performed a makeover of
the corporate Website The new site is substantially faster, with better graphics, organization, and navigation and was designed for cross browser compatibility. Previously done manually with simple tools,
the site is now automated with FrontPage. Over 190 pages and 500 graphics elements.

- Performed Editing and Digital graphics for a series of Management and Instructional Safety Video Programs for their client - Johnson & Johnson Corp. - Using AVID Media Composer, Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop and online imaging techniques. Three video programs in 6 months.
Harvard Business School
- Part of a team that produced a CDROM for the November 95 Technology Colloquium. My responsibilities included - digitizing all video material, editing and compression to QuickTime formats on an Avid Media Composer 800, all graphics handling including resizing, tone control, palette management and format conversion, CDROM test pressing, animation and titling sequences, music editing - PhotoShop, Premiere, DeBabilizer, Truespace, Sony CDROM writer and software.
Matrix Video - post production of several industrial videos on an AVID Media Suite Pro system. Included digitization, editing and PhotoShop digital graphics.
Harvard Business School Publishing Corp. - Created a 60 second opening 3D Animation for a CDROM based management series with 3D Studio.
Video Publishing Group, Corp. - Nonlinear editing and
PhotoShop graphics for 90 separate Mathematical Video programs using Data Translation Media 100.
Spectrum/NETG

. - initial partner.
In 1986, I started a 3rd party hardware and software maintenance organization for specific IBM based office products, the IBM Displaywriter and the PC. My company repaired
systems, performed telephone support and On Site training and support of Displaywriter and PC based word processing systems. Also developed, installed and supported independent software packages that were
not supplied by IBM.
Established sales and service offices in Ontario, CA; Needham, MA; Hartford, CT & NYC with approx. 800 accounts, including: NY State Dept. of Law, Mass General Hospital,
Harvard, CBS Sports, UCLA, Aetna, Met Life, The New England, Travelers, Liberty Mutual, Cigna, BlueCross/BlueShield, Arthur D. Little, and others.
Hired, trained and managed all personnel including
Maintenance, Sales and Telemarketing. The company grew to a 20 person, 850K/year service revenue organization before the anticipated decline of installed base of obsolete systems.Sold assets and closed
company in 1993.
